“Fitting in is about assessing a situation and becoming who you need to be accepted. Belonging, on the other hand, doesn’t require us to change who we are; it requires us to be who we are”

cary is passionate about

Cary is passionate about how discovering one’s identity and community (that place where you belong and are known) can help you to thrive in life. We are not meant to go through life alone but our own insecurities and negative self-talk can get in the way of true connection with others.

Cary has worked with at-risk adolescents in groups and individually at the National Institute for Change in Denver, Colorado. She has counseled young women at several different churches who struggled to develop meaningful relationships. She has mentored young professionals, helping them navigate life after college. And most recently, Cary has coached professionals on staying true to their calling amidst overcoming relational difficulties.
